Haha... I totally just PWND myself. I decided that in order to prevent hotlinking to my images, I would add a .htaccess file to all of my image directories, except the one that is expressly for linking to at other sites. What I forgot to do, was allow my own site to link to my images. I went to check out my site & got this lovely little message that Hotlinking & image stealing is bad. So now I have to go back in & figure out how to allow my own site to link to my images. *rolls eyes*

Howdy-do! It's finished. I can't believe it. I even added more to my Artist page, and actually set up the commission page. I'm taking commissions now finally =D. I will be taking lots of commissions, and even creating myspace layouts if people are interested. Should be fun.
I ended up using a gallery software that does all the work for me to keep my gallery updated. Well, I gotta upload the pictures & write a description, but the software does all the resizing, thumbnail making, watermarking, and placement for me. It will be so much easier for me to keep the gallery updated with my new stuff. Since the new gallery is so easy, I actually created a sub gallery called scraps. That is where I've put all my stuff that I've either started & never finished, or experiments & stuff like that.
I'm not going to bother putting all the previous news entries from the old layout here. It would take alot of time, and alot of room.

Well, work is almost complete on the new site. Almost all of of the design elements are complete, all that remains is to add a bit more content. That should be much easier now that the site design is much simpler, and the code has been simplified.
I still need to go through the gallery and change the colors to better match. I had done that already, in the colors I had originally planned, then changed my mind about the colors.
I also need to go through and add in commission stuff, as well as edit my link page.
Eventually I hope that I will get around to making some freebies. I have a few 3d textures I am working on that I will offer up, and I am also planning on adding some generic avatars & wallpapers for people to use.
I am also planning on building a website for a friend here in the coming weeks, as soon as I am finished with mine. I may open up my commissions to (basic) website design as well as character portraits & stuff. I'll have to think about that first though.

Q. Is Verity your real name?
A. Nope.. It's the name of one of my EQ2 characters.. A little Half elf Troubador on the EQ2 Befallen Server. I also Have a little Gnome Magician named Veryti (Verity was taken when I created her) On Eq's Vazaelle (now Maelin Starpyre) server.
Q. A little about me.... A. I'm a 30 year old Stay at home Mommy of 2 Wonderful, sweet boys, and 2 very beautiful daughters.
Q. How did you get started in doing Digital Art? A. Well... I saw forum signatures, that were pretty cool, and I kinda figured how to do it. I started out Using PSP7, cutting my EQ characters out of screenshots, and pasting them onto a colored background, and as I got better, and read massive amounts of tutorials on screenshot manipulation, and how to use graphic programs, I slowly taught myself how to do it. Recently, I discovered Daz Studio, a free 3d rendering program, that is similar to poser. And have also moved on to doing most of my post-work in Photoshop, rather than psp.
Q. What's your life like in RL? A. Well, as stated above, I'm a stay at home mom of 4, I cook, clean, and do my art in my spare time. I still occationally play EQ2, but I don't have much time left to play them Doing art is much more interesting to me.

A 50% deposit is required before I will begin work on your project. Payment will be accepted through Paypal. If you prefer to make other arrangements for payment, please let me know ahead of time.
During Creation: I will e-mail you proofs several times during the creation phase of your project, so that you can be sure things are coming together as you envision it. If there is anything you would like changed at the time of recieving the proofs, be sure to tell me right away so they can be changed before it gets too far into the project. Please note, that any major revisions once the original design has been approved will result in additional costs, depending on the time/effort it takes to change.
Once full payment has been recieved and you are happy with the final product, it will be e-mailed to you. (and instructions provided for myspace layouts)
Refunds: Once work has began I will not offer refunds. Please be sure you like my style before requesting something from me. I will do what I can to make sure you end up with something you like. If I feel that I cannot complete your project to your satisfaction, I will tell you before I start, and will give you the opportunity to back out.
Be aware: These things take time. Depending on my workload and family, projects will take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to complete. More complex projects may take longer, and more simple projects may not take as long.
